This week we review Frankenstein Jr. and the Impossibles. Frankenstein Jr. seems to be the inexplicable son of Frankenstein, despite being a 50-foot super robot. The Impossible is what you get when someone says, “What if the Beatles had super powers?” Turn out, they’re both pretty good!

Also, go listen to It’s Del Toro Time!

Limited Cel is a podcast where two generations of cartoon watchers sit down and watch ever series their favorite cartoon producers ever made. Join Nick (the son) and Mike (the dad) Wood as they watch, catalog, and review some of the best and the worst Hanna-Barbera has to offer.

  1. Speaking as another Wood (albeit unrelated), this is a great podcast! Lots of great memories attached to many of these shows, and fun to learn about the obscure ones I haven’t seen.

I remember that Frankenstein Jr./Impossibles aired again on Saturday mornings in the late 70s, I guess due to a lack of new content.

Fun fact: After comparing Frankenstein Jr to Jonny Quest multiple times, you then said you’d never heard of Dr. Conroy’s voice actor John Stephenson. However, he was the original voice of Dr. Quest. 🙂
